Region: Macedo de Cavaleiros, Trás-os-Montes.

Soil: Schist origin, with medium clay content and the presence of quartz.

Climate: Temperate with continental characteristics.

Vinification: Double distillation in a copper alembic of fresh pomace from red and white grapes. Ageing in oak casks for 10 years.

Grape varieties: A blend of red and white grape varieties (in a small percentage) from Valle Pradinhos.

Colour: Bright, golden with amber highlights

Aroma: A fine, elegant aroma in which the characteristic fruit of the pomace is well enveloped in the balsamic nuances of the wood, giving it a lot of complexity.

Palate: Good volume in the mouth with a smooth flavour that shows good ageing work on the long finish.
