Valle Pradinhos Rosé 2023


Region: Macedo de Cavaleiros, Trás-os-Montes.

Soil: Schist origin, with medium clay content and the presence of quartz.

Climate: Temperate with continental characteristics.

Vinification: Manual harvesting by grape variety. Hand-picking of the bunches. Total destemming followed by light crushing of the berries. Very slight cold skin maceration of the Touriga Nacional variety. Static clarification. Fermentation at low temperature in stainless steel vats, followed by ageing on fine lees until the end of January.

Grape varieties: Touriga Nacional (40%) and Tinta Roriz (60%).

Colour: Bright salmon.

Aroma: Young, with very good intensity. Very fresh wild red fruits and floral hints stand out. Mineral nuances.

Palate: Dry, very smooth and creamy. It has a crisp acidity and a persistent finish. Elegant mouthfeel with fresh red fruit flavours.

Consumption: It should be enjoyed at a temperature of between 10ºC and 12ºC.

Ageing potential: until 2027.

Alcohol: 12,80 %/vol

Total acidity: 8.80 g/l tartaric acid

pH: 2,86

Reducing sugars: 0,6 g/l

Production (bottles): 20,996 gfs of 75cl
