Valle Pradinhos THE LOST CORNER white 2019


Region: Macedo de Cavaleiros, Trás-os-Montes.

Soil: Schist origin, with medium clay content and the presence of quartz.

Climate: Temperate with continental characteristics.

Vinification: Manual harvesting. Rigorous manual selection of the bunches. Total destemming, followed by pre-fermentation maceration. Gentle pressing. Static decanting. Fermentation in oak barrels and subsequent ageing on the lees for 20 months.

Wine not filtered or cold stabilised. May create a deposit.

Grape varieties: Riesling, verdelho and códega.

Colour: Straw.

Aroma: Fine, intense, complex and deep. Apricots, yellow flowers, aromatic herbs, spices and mineral aromas stand out.

Palate: Creamy attack, fine, precise and well-balanced acidity that exalts the flavours in the mouth. Unrivalled texture. Very long finish. 

Consumption: It should be enjoyed at a temperature of between 14ºC and 16ºC. We recommend decanting and serving in a burgundy glass.

Ageing potential: until 2034.

pH: 3,05

Reducing sugars:   0,9 g/l
